Missouri woman’s 911 call during stroke creates lasting bond with dispatcher

NIXA, Mo. (InvestigateTV) — A medical emergency that left a Missouri woman unable to speak during a 911 call has led to an unexpected friendship with the dispatcher who helped her through the crisis.

Wanda McLane, an international grandmaster champion home canning demonstrator who calls herself the “fruit jar floozy,” was typing at her desk when she noticed her left hand couldn’t hit the right keys.
