Portland woman found guilty on all counts after her dogs fatally mauled 6-year-old boy

PORTLAND, Ore. — A Portland woman charged in connection with the death of her friend’s grandson has been found guilty on all charges, confirmed the Multnomah County District’s Office.

Koko M. Miller, 56, faced charges of criminally negligent homicide, maintaining a dangerous dog, and two counts of first-degree criminal mistreatment after her two dogs mauled a 6-year-old boy, Loyalty, to death when he opened her home’s garage door. She had been indicted on those same charges last July.

Both dogs, Great Dane-Mastiff mixes, were euthanized. A third dog was in the house but not involved in the attack…
