RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – A Reno man has been arrested on DUI and other charges after police responded to the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center for a hit and run crash.
Just before 3:00 a.m. Wednesday, deputies with the Storey County Sheriff’s Office were called to that area for the reported crash.
Police were able to locate the car on Waltham Way. Deputies attempted to contact the driver, 38-year-old Alexander Chavez, when he fled away at a high rate of speed. Police pursued, and Chavez lost control and crashed into a fence while trying to make a U-Turn…
