CANTON ‒ The fatal shooting of Bryson O. Barksdale Sr. cost his four children the opportunity to see him again, and did the same for his mother, grandmother, the mother of his children and other friends and family.
His loved ones described those losses on Jan. 27, before a judge sentenced the three men who killed him to life in prison with the possibility of parole after they each serve 38 years.
