FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Leaders with Fort Wayne Community Schools (FWCS) sent a letter to families on Wednesday, addressing rumors circulating on social media that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will soon be coming to Fort Wayne schools.
The letter says the district recognizes the fear and uncertainty among many families because of recent national events involving ICE agents and federal immigration tactics.
