Residents of Charlotte County looking to stay updated on local government affairs can mark their calendars for a series of meetings scheduled for the first week of February. According to the Charlotte County Government website, the week will kick off with a Code Enforcement Special Magistrate Hearing on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 9 a.m., held at the Charlotte County Administration Center in Port Charlotte, where matters of property standards and compliance will be heard.
Also on Tuesday at 2 p.m., the Pirate Harbor Waterway MSBU Advisory Board will meet at the Punta Gorda Charlotte Library to discuss financing and maintenance of the special benefit unit. The Beaches and Shores Advisory Committee will meet on Thursday, Feb. 5, at 9 a.m. at the Charlotte County Administration Center.
The Marine Advisory Committee Pre-Agenda meeting will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Charlotte County Administration Center.
