Large fire breaks out at former Fresno restaurant

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Crews are currently battling a large fire in Central Fresno.

The blaze broke out around 6:15 p.m. at the old Carl’s Jr. on Blackstone and McKinley avenues.

According to footage from the scene, flames could be seen erupting from the former fast-food restaurant’s roof.

The cause of the fire has not been released, but according to crews, no one who was seeking refuge in the structure was injured…
