Greensboro police officer fired after arrest for shooting at neighbor’s home in Snow Camp

A Greensboro police officer has found herself behind bars this week after she allegedly discharged a rifle into a neighbor’s home in the unincorporated community of Snow Camp.

Morgan Lynette Hill was taken into custody on Saturday over this burst of gunfire, which reportedly came from her own home at 5411 Towhee Court at about 1:00 p.m.

Court records indicate that the 25-year-old white female had fired the gunshots from a “AR-style rifle,” striking a nearby dwelling along Gannett Court. According to the office of Alamance County’s sheriff, Hill’s neighbors were home at the time of the barrage, which reportedly occurred about 12 hours after a “domestic incident” at Hill’s own residence earlier that day…
