3 dead in Tate County, bringing Mississippi’s weather-related deaths to 7, governor says

MISSISSIPPI – Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves said Wednesday that three people died in Tate County and connected their deaths to the massive storm that moved through the region over the weekend, bringing the state’s weather-related deaths to seven.

“Mississippi is praying for the families and friends of those lost,” he said in a statement.
