BROOKSVILLE, Fla. — A Tampa man was arrested in Brooksville after allegedly trying to flee from law enforcement, threatening a trooper and resisting arrest, according to an arrest affidavit from the Florida Highway Patrol.
According to an arrest report, on Monday night, troopers arrested James Carlton, 41, of Tampa. The incident occurred on Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville.
The arresting trooper stated in the report that Carlton threatened”violence” against him while FHP was trying to stop him. Then, Carlton tried to flee the scene while his car was attached to another vehicle, the report says…
