Zayn Malik Throws Shade at Harry Styles’ Tour Ticket Prices During Vegas Residency

Las Vegas, NV – Former One Direction member Zayn Malik seemed to take a playful jab at his former bandmate, Harry Styles, and the buzz surrounding his upcoming tour’s high ticket prices during a recent performance in Las Vegas.

While addressing the crowd at Dolby Live during his Wednesday night show, Malik expressed his gratitude to fans for attending. “I just want to say a big, big thank you to every single one of you for being here tonight,” he told the cheering audience in a video now circulating online. “Could’ve been anywhere but you decided to spend your night with me.”

He then added with a smile, “Hopefully the ticket prices weren’t too high. Just saying.” The remark drew significant applause from the crowd, with many speculating it was a thinly veiled reference to the ongoing controversy surrounding ticket costs for Styles’ “Together, Together” world tour.

Representatives for Malik were contacted for comment, while Styles’ team has not yet responded to inquiries.

Styles recently announced his new album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, alongside details for his extensive global tour.

The “Together, Together” tour is slated to span seven cities worldwide with multi-day residencies, totaling 50 shows. The tour kicks off in May with six shows in Amsterdam, followed by six concerts in London, where country superstar Shania Twain is scheduled to appear as a special guest.

Over the summer, Styles will perform two shows each in São Paulo and Mexico City. A significant portion of the tour includes 30 shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, running from August through October.

Styles previously held a successful 15-show residency at the same venue during his 2022 “Love on Tour” concert series. The tour will conclude in Australia with two shows in Melbourne in November and two in Sydney in December.

While general sale tickets for Styles’ tour are set to go on sale Friday, presale prices have already sparked considerable frustration among fans. Standard seated tickets for Wembley Stadium reportedly ranged from approximately $60 to $643, with the most expensive VIP package in New York City currently priced at $1,667.

One fan took to X, formerly Twitter, to voice their disappointment, stating, “Harry’s ticket prices are so disappointing. They’re only asking those insane prices because they know people will pay no matter what, not because they actually need the money.

Harry could’ve gone against the increase, but didn’t. This is also on him.”

In contrast, tickets for Malik’s final two Las Vegas shows reportedly range from $83.07 for balcony seats to $479.81 for ultra-premium seats, according to Ticketmaster.
