This summer, seven Corpus Christi ISD elementary and middle schools will close their doors.
These schools have decades of history in Corpus Christi. Several of the schools were named in honor of prominent local residents.
The Corpus Christi Independent School District Board of Trustees voted in early January to close Kostoryz, Travis, Fannin and Sanders elementary schools and Martin, Browne and Haas middle schools.
