ST. LOUIS — A man is facing murder charges, accused of killing a St. Louis woman and her daughter after he was arrested in Poplar Bluff.
Michael McNair Jr. was charged with two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action and individual counts of first-degree arson and unlawful possession of a firearm. The charges are connected to the deaths of 45-year-old LaTasha Brown and her 9-year-old daughter Paige Buckner.
Brown and Buckner were found in their Walnut Park home on Dec. 21. The mother and daughter were shot but still alive inside the burning home, firefighters said…
