A longtime San Antonio broadcaster is speaking out after Spurs star Victor Wembanyama said he’s “horrified” by the recent killings of U.S. citizens in Minnesota, telling MySA he’s disappointed with the direction the discourse took.
News 4 sports anchor and director Don Harris shared a clip of Wembanyama’s comments in a Facebook post on Tuesday, January 27. Later that day, Harris made another post calling the divided reaction to the clip “beyond me.”
“It’s concerning, outrageous, disgusting, supportive, dismissive, divisive, encouraging, discouraging, vile, uplifting, ignorant, and enlightened,” Harris wrote. “Such a disturbing example of how divided America is right now.
