Loews Hotels & Co is building yet another property in Arlington’s entertainment district. Americana by Loews Hotels will be the company’s third hotel in the district. The new 507-room hotel will feature 39 suites and 83,000 square feet of gathering space—including a 10,000-square-foot event barn. Plans include demolishing the existing Sheraton Hotel on site starting in early June, with construction on the new property beginning in the summer.
