Laser strike on Tucson Police aircraft leads to arrest

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Tucson Police Department says a person has been arrested in connection with a laser strike on a police aircraft on a patrol flight.

Police say the TPD Air Support crew quickly identified the location of the laser strike which allowed them to direct patrol officers on the ground to the home.

A man was arrested and booked into jail for two counts of aiming a laser at an aircraft, one count for each crew member, which is a class three felony…
