The death of Michael Vangelas, the 42-year-old man who was reported missing and later found dead in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, has not yet been ruled on, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office.
No foul play is suspected in Vangelas’ death, chief investigator Gary Guenther reported.
According to park rangers, Vangelas drove into the park on Jan. 14 in a white 2024 Toyota Corolla with Louisiana license plates. On Jan. 16 his car was found abandoned at the Brandywine Falls trailhead after a snowstorm. A search and rescue team was assembled and searched the area…
