ANN ARBOR, MI – The body of the University of Michigan student who was the subject of a 20-hour search was found in the backyard of an Ann Arbor home, dispatch records show.
Several police cars arrived at the home on the 1900 block of Cambridge Road around noon on Saturday, Jan. 24, according to dispatch calls and residents around the area. The owner of the home where Mattson was found declined to comment for this story.
Police identified the body as Lucas Mattson. The 19-year-old was last seen attending a fraternity party as a guest, as he was neither a member nor a pledge of the fraternity, Michigan Interim President Domenico Grasso said in a Jan. 26 university-wide message…
