Some Cleveland businesses taking part in national boycott to protest ICE

Several Cleveland businesses are closing Friday as part of a nationwide economic blackout demonstration, intended as an anti-ICE protest after agents shot and killed two protesters in Minnesota.

Increased federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement action brought about 3,000 agents to the Minneapolis area, leading to many protests, arrests of undocumented immigrants without criminal records and the death of U.S. citizen protesters Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
