COLUMBUS, OH (WTRF) — A traffic stop in Ohio led to the seizure of 154 pounds of cocaine valued at approximately $6.3 million, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
On January 23, at around 1:55 p.m., troopers stopped a semi-trailer with Arizona registration on Interstate 70 near London for a commercial vehicle inspection.
During the stop, troopers observed indicators of possible criminal activity. A Patrol drug-sniffing canine alerted to the vehicle. A probable cause search revealed the cocaine concealed inside cabinets within the trailer.
