FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — The City of Fort Wayne is gearing up for a major road project on Hillegas Road, with construction beginning in the spring of 2026. This expansion will transform the road into a five-lane thoroughfare.
The project will stretch along Hillegas between Coliseum and West State boulevards.
City Engineer Patrick Zaharako said, “We’re in the process of finishing up design on that and we’ll be planning on starting utility relocations this year.”…
