Vaping in public places and public meetings will be illegal in Alabama if a bill approved by the state Senate on Thursday becomes law.
The bill by Sen. Gerald Allen, R-Cottondale, adds vaping to the Alabama Clean Indoor Air Act, which prohibits smoking in public places, with a few exceptions, such as bars and lounges and retail tobacco stores.
