YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — A woman was stabbed outside a Ross Dress for Less store on Mooretown Road and a suspect was shot and killed by police inside a nearby Home Depot Wednesday, the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office said.
The woman who was stabbed has non life-threatening injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.
A man reportedly stabbed a woman just outside the store before heading to a nearby Home Depot, the sheriff’s office said. James City County Police responded to the scene providing mutual aid and found the suspect inside the Home Depot as deputies arrived.
