HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Two Myrtle Beach men were arrested Tuesday by Horry County authorities, who say they shot and killed a Loris man whose body was found in October in the back seat of a burned SUV in the Longs area.
Jerrick Larog Thomas, 20, and Evin Elijah Worrell, 23, face murder and gun charges in the Oct. 4 killing of 20-year-old Stoney Floyd Jr., according to arrest warrants News13 obtained from Horry County police. Both are being held without bail at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
A third man — Jayveon Nylek McCaskill, 20, of Longs — allegedly drove multiple people away from Floyd’s Mitsubishi Outlander after it was set on fire in near Bullock Trail and W. Bear Grass Road.
