Snow causes issues near Providence elementary school

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — With more snow potentially in the forecast, it’s essential to make as much room for it as possible.

That means clearing streets and sidewalks, and while many crews are working around the clock to do so, some say it’s not fast enough.

A 12 News viewer shared photos of large snow piles outside Carl Lauro Elementary School. She is a crossing guard at the school and said she had to lift students over snow banks to help them get to school safely.
