The police in San Jose, California, have put a stop to an illegal gambling operation located inside a warehouse. The crackdown led to the arrests of two people and the recovery of unlicensed gaming equipment and other items.

San Jose Snuffs Out Illegal Gambling Den

The raid on the venue was the culmination of a lengthy investigation that kicked off in November. The investigation was related to suspected illicit activities inside a warehouse located on the 1700 block of Monterey Road.

After carefully investigating the venue for months, the authorities finally initiated a crackdown on Wednesday, which resulted in multiple detentions and two arrests. One of the arrestees is believed to have been operating the illegal hall, while the other has been arrested on an unrelated existing warrant.
