Effingham County Sheriff’s Office alerting residents of door-to-door impersonator

EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) – The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) has some information they are sharing with residents about a possible door-to-door impersonator.

On Thursday morning, ECSO received information about a male going door-to-door in the area of Samuel Smalls Avenue in Guyton, offering “benefits through the county.”

The individualhas been described by ECSO as a light-skinned black male, maybe 5’10 or 5’11, carrying a tablet, driving a small red vehicle and saying his name is “Justin.”…
