Gunfire just after midnight turned deadly today in southern Dallas, where officers found a man inside a vehicle on the 7200 block of Great Trinity Forest Way and pronounced him dead at the scene, authorities said.
Officers had responded to reports of shots fired shortly after midnight and located the victim inside a car along that stretch of road, the cause of the shooting still unclear, according to WFAA. Police detained several people at the scene for questioning, but investigators told the station those individuals are not currently considered suspects.
