CCPD shuts down illegal game room on SPID | Four arrested, machines and cash seized

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Police Department shut down an illegal game room Thursday afternoon after serving a search warrant along South Padre Island Drive, according to CCPD Captain Samantha Baldwin.

Baldwin said four employees who were inside the business at the time of the raid were arrested. She added that investigators also cited an estimated 20 to 25 patrons who were allegedly gambling inside the location.

“We seized all of the gaming devices, and any of the cash that was inside was also seized,” she said…
