USPS suspends Arkansas mail service, cites employee safety

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Despite its unofficial motto, last weekend’s winter storm is preventing U.S. postal workers from completing their appointed rounds in Arkansas.

In an email to K8 News, the U.S. Postal Service said the winter weather was affecting the processing, transportation, and delivery of mail and packages throughout the southeast region of the country.
