Brown & Root shifts engineering hub to Metairie

Brown & Root Industrial Services has relocated its engineering and construction operations in St. Rose to Three Lakeway Place in Metairie, marking a strategic investment in the Greater New Orleans region and positioning the company for continued growth along the Gulf Coast.

The move, announced on Wednesday, brings Brown & Root’s engineering team into a modern, centrally located office after operating from its previous site since Hurricane Katrina. In addition to engineering staff, the Metairie office will house the company’s laser scanning, survey and permitting teams, strengthening its integrated project delivery model and enhancing convenience for both clients and employees.

The relocation comes a handful of months after Bernhard Capital Partners finished selling its stake in the company. BCP partnered with KBR in 2015 to establish Brown & Root Industrial Services, and through the partnership the firm expanded its footprint to more than 22 locations across North America with more than 10,000 employees…
