Many Eugene businesses will be closed Jan. 30 for the economic strike dubbed “National Shutdown.” Activists around the country are urging people not to attend school, work, or shop in a call for ICE to leave communities in the U.S.
There will be a rally at 2 p.m. at Springfield City Hall then a car caravan will travel to Eugene and back.
