Windward Oahu store run by mother-son duo keeps generations of traditions alive

WINDWARD OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Waikane Store is a family-owned gem tucked away in a small Windward Oahu town.

The mom-and-pop shop is located along Kamehameha Highway, about a mile away from the Waiahole Poi Factory.

It’s owned and operated by mother-son duo Nadine and Alden Tokuzato, who work together to make fried chicken, spam musubi and maki sushi, served fresh every day.
