CAIRO, N.Y. (WNYT) – A Greene County man is accused of assaulting a 3-year-old girl.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office, State Police and Cairo Police responded to a report of an unresponsive girl in the town of Cairo. Investigators said the victim had visible injuries and was treated at the scene. She was then taken by helicopter to Albany Medical Center, where she remains in critical condition.
