NJ Transit rejected job applicant with diabetes, lawsuit says

A Brooklyn man has filed a federal discrimination lawsuit against New Jersey Transit, claiming he was turned down for a job after disclosing he has diabetes.

Gavin Minor, 54, states in court papers that he received a letter in June 2024 offering him a position in the transit agency’s electric power operations division.
