Ohio State Highway Patrol discovers semi trailer packed with $6.1 million in cocaine

MADISON COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol discovered millions of dollars in cocaine in a semi trailer last Friday.

According to a statement issued by the patrol, authorities seized 154 pounds of cocaine valued at $6.3 million during a commercial vehicle inspection on Friday, January 23 along Interstate 70 near London, Ohio.

The drugs were found concealed inside wooden cabinets in a semi-trailer.

The driver, Omar Gonzalez-Flores, 46, from Ecatepec, Mexico, was charged with the following:

  • Drug possession (felony)
