NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Thousands across Middle Tennessee are still without power as linemen work around the clock to restore heat and light.
As of Thursday afternoon, Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation (CEMC) has over 1,500 members who remain affected by the outages.
The ice storm moved quickly and caused widespread damage in surrounding states, making it impossible for CEMC to stage out-of-state crews in advance.
