Penfield residents head out shopping despite cold weather

PENFIELD, N.Y. — It seems the snow won’t stop lately, and the cold is here to stay. But, how is this weather affecting business and people’s decisions to come out?

Eileen Wrona opened Enchanted Rose 23 years ago. These days, she runs it with her daughter, Jessie. Both of them say this time of year is rough for in-person business.

“We slow down quite a bit. Here in store, if we do get a minor warm up, we’ll get, you know, a little rush of people. But generally this is our slowest time of year,” Eileen said…
