A rapidly intensifying nor’easter is forecast to evolve into a bomb cyclone this weekend, bringing heavy snow to southeastern Massachusetts and dangerous winds across the East Coast from North Carolina to Maine.
The National Weather Service reports that the rapidly deepening storm will be centered just off the North Carolina coast from Friday night, Jan. 30, through Saturday night, Jan. 31.
