Mayor Sheffield says Detroit doesn’t have to choose between neighborhoods and businesses

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Mayor Mary Sheffield said partnerships, not a choice between neighborhoods and businesses, will guide the city’s next phase of growth.

Sheffield, speaking in recorded remarks at the Detroit Policy Conference on Thursday, Jan. 29, said she was in Washington, D.C., advocating on Detroit’s behalf and thanked attendees for their leadership across business, government, civic and philanthropic sectors.
