AUSTIN, Texas — If you’re looking for some of the best food in the U.S., you might not have to look much further than Austin.
Yelp recently released its “Top 100 U.S. Restaurants 2026,” with four Austin-area eateries making this year’s list.

Taqueria De Diez
At No. 47 was Taqueria De Diez, a Mexican “fast casual” spot that serves items including tacos, burritos and quesadillas filled with your choice of carne asada, pollo asado, nopal (grilled cactus) and other options.
The restaurant operates two locations: one at 206 Trinity St., and the other at 2110 S. Lamar Blvd. It first opened back in February 2024 and has since been featured in publications including “Eater Austin” and “Texas Monthly.”
Sushi Yume
Round Rock restaurant Sushi Yume was also highlighted by Yelp, rated 57th overall this year.
