Madison man arrested near McFarland after Monona police chase

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A Madison man is in custody on several charges after a police chase that ended near McFarland.

In a release, Monona Police Department shared that police arrested 39-year-old Dustin Rompre, of Madison, early Thursday morning for charges that include second-degree recklessly endangering safety, resisting or obstructing an officer and eluding.

MOPD said around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, law enforcement were chasing a vehicle that had driven off from the DeForest Police Department and was headed to the Madison area. Monona Police Dept. said it saw the vehicle going 90 mph in a 45 mph zone…
