TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department has released dash cam video of a semi driving the wrong way on the Broken Arrow Expressway, which gives a clearer picture of what happened.
On Tuesday, videos and pictures surfaced of a semi driving the wrong way on the BA Expressway, but didn’t show what led up to the incident. On Thursday, TPD shared dash cam video from the semi’s perspective, which provided new insight.
The semi was headed westbound near 129th East Avenue when a car attempted to get into the semi’s lane, according to TPD. The semi then veered onto the snowy shoulder, which caused the trailer to jackknife and swing the cab in the opposite direction of traffic.
TPD said the semi drove eastbound in the wrong direction back to the ramp at 129th to get his trailer back behind his truck. No one was injured as a result of this incident…
