New Orleans police and emergency medical crews were dispatched to the 2600 block of A.P. Tureaud Avenue at about 8:10 a.m. on Wednesday. When they arrived, they found a man who was pronounced dead at the scene. According to officers, the man’s injuries appeared to be from a gunshot wound, and the case remains under active investigation.
