Mass shooting trial delayed again in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A trial for a man accused of a mass shooting at an after-hours club in October 2024 faced another delay Thursday, with closing arguments and a potential verdict now expected Friday.

Michael Robinson faces second-degree murder and five counts of attempted second-degree murder in connection with the shooting that killed 35-year-old Dexter Cormier on Greenwell Springs Road near Platt Drive almost two years ago.
