ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The largest school district in New Mexico is going green, in a different way.
Two high schools within Albuquerque Public Schools are testing daily salad bars as part of their lunch options with plans to expand to all APS high schools by April of this year.
Highland and Eldorado high schools are part of a pilot program, perfecting the salad bars before they roll out additional high schools in the spring and possibly at APS middle schools at the start of the next school year…
