Sweet Home man caught by K9 after allegedly stealing car in Lebanon

LEBANON, Ore. – A stolen vehicle incident on Sunday has led to the arrest of 47-year-old Travis Pressey from Sweet Home, according to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

LCSO officials said that deputies responded at 10:39 a.m. on Jan. 25 to a call about a stolen 1990 green Honda CRX on Lacomb Drive near Lebanon. Pressey allegedly threatened a caller with a gun before fleeing in the vehicle. The Honda was found in a driveway, but Pressey fled on foot when the car ran out of gas. K9 Juice tracked Pressey down and apprehended him, resulting in minor injuries to his arm.

Pressey was found with methamphetamine and fentanyl and is facing multiple charges, including felony attempt to elude and unlawful firearm use. He also had outstanding warrants…
