As we approach one week since U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers shot and killed Veterans Affairs ICU nurse Alex Jeffrey Pretti in Minneapolis on Saturday, Jan. 24, local groups are organizing memorials for Pretti and events demanding that federal border and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents stop terrorizing people.
One of those vigils took place last night as more than 1,000 local health care workers gathered to march from Riverfront Park to the Spokane County Courthouse with signs and candles, as reported by the Spokesman-Review.
Here are more events set to take place this weekend.
