AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – After serving in the military for more than two decades, Judy Mitchell now wants to serve the community in a different way through her new restaurant, Diamond Cuisine, on Broad Street.
The sign outside the restaurant reads “Grab a friend. Make a memory.” For Mitchell, the kitchen brings up many memories of her own.
“I started cooking at a very young age. Come from a family of 11, me being the oldest. My daddy really inspired us to cook. And so we all, my brothers and sisters, we all cooks,” Mitchell said…
