Ex-Hamilton County officer’s gun used in Loveland shooting, police say

A former Hamilton County officer’s gun was used in a suburban Cincinnati shooting just days before the officer was accused of beating an inmate with a belt, according to police records.

Jordan Anderson, 26, was under investigation by the sheriff’s office over how a pistol registered to him ended up being used in a Loveland domestic dispute when he struck an inmate twice on the upper thigh with his belt, according to investigatory records.

Anderson was charged with misdemeanor assault in the case and is also being sued by the inmate, Chad Warren, who claims he was not only beaten, but retaliated against for weeks after reporting the alleged assault…
